Record Store Day at CD Central

The big day is almost upon us! Please plan to join us for a full day of music and fun. The store opens at 10 a.m. and live music starts around noon and will include performances by Oh My Me, Those Crosstown Rivals, Joan Shelley, Satellite Giant, and perhaps a few surprises. We will post the band schedule with times on our Facebook page as well as on the web site. We will have several giveways going on during the day including a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Forecastle Festival! The Kentucky for Kentucky folks will be here to sell some of their awesome t-shirts. And as always, we will have some good eats — this year we’re thrilled to have the Taqueria El Habanero Loko truck here to serve up some fresh, authentic Mexican fare.
Of course, one of the highlights of Record Store Day is the long list of limited-edition vinyl (and a few CDs). Here’s the link to the official Record Store Day 2012 release list:
