CD Central will participate in Black Friday madness, in our own low-key way as usual. This means we’ll have the special Record Store Day Black Friday releases. It also means we’ll be opening at the respectable hour of 9 a.m. so you and we can get some sleep the night before.
A few words about the releases. We will have most of the titles, but some will be in limited quantities and sell out quickly. The official list can be found HERE at the RSD site. You might notice that some titles previously announced no longer appear; most of these have been rescheduled for December or next year. This is mostly due to all the supply chain problems you’ve been hearing about.
As we have done for the most recent Record Store Day events, we will admit a small number of people in the store at a time and there will be a special counter set up where you can ask for the RSD releases you want. This eliminates crowding and makes for a more pleasant shopping experience. After everyone in line has been served, all remaining RSD stock will be available for self-service browsing.
Phone orders for pickup or mail delivery will be accepted after 10:30 a.m.
Selected remaining Black Friday titles will be available at the CD Central online shop starting on Saturday, Nov. 27.
