I suppose at this point I’m a Hot Chip fan. A month ago I would’ve said that I was “so so” about the group, but In Our Heads has my fandom locked up tight. This record pulls together funk, pop and the tiniest hint of disco production together in one dance-party-launching package. This is one of those albums that I listen to and think “oh yeah, this song is the really good one” about nearly every track on the album.
While I don’t think this live version really does justice to the album, here’s a great performance of “How Do You Do?” off In Our Heads. Check it out and stop by the store if you’d like to hear the entire thing.
