The Allman Brothers Band – Syria Mosque: Pittsburgh, PA January 17, 1971 2xCD (Allman Brothers Band)
Live recording from 1971 featuring the original Allman Brothers Band.
Cheap Trick – Live At The Whiskey 1977 4xCD (Real Gone Music)
In June 1977, Cheap Trick was in Los Angeles to record their second album, In Color. To get the band in shape for the record, they booked five gigs at the Whisky A Go Go the weekend of June 3. The result: a series of fire-breathing shows that you can still hear reverberating on the Sunset Strip to this day. All of this would be mere legend, witnessed by only a couple of hundred Cheap Trick fans each night, but for the fact that the tapes were rolling courtesy of the Record Plant’s Mobile Unit One for four out of the five shows.
Circa Survive – Two Dreams CD (Rise)
Two Dreams is the seventh full-length record from Philadelphia’s Circa Survive. The album is a project of dual realities in both theory and practice. The 12-track release comprises two individual six-song EPs, titled A Dream About Love and A Dream About Death. [Two vinyl colorways – including an indie store exclusive version – are due January 13.]

[An indie store exclusive pressing is available.]

Also included is a December 1972 live show from Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco and unreleased George Duke demos. A Blu-ray Audio disc features both albums with Dolby Atmos & 5.1 mixes + 96/24 hi-res stereo masters. [Stand-alone vinyl reissues of Waka/Jawaka and The Grand Wazoo are available.]
